A healthy understanding
This is the latest in a series of Frontiers articles to help employees and their families better understand how changes in health care may affect them. Boeing will spend an estimated $2.4 billion in 2010 year on health care, and those costs are expected to continue to go up by 7 to 8 percent annually. But as much as 40 percent of the company’s health care costs -- almost $1 billion a year -- are linked to preventable health risks.
