Boeing’s newest bird
The 702B, the latest satellite developed by Boeing Space and
Intelligence Systems, promises to open new market opportunities
to Boeing for satellites that are smaller and don’t require
as much power. It builds on the proven technology of the bigger
702. The initial customer for the 702B, Intelsat, has ordered
four, the first of which is scheduled for launch in 2012.

A 777 interiors warehouse team in Everett has streamlined the
process of packaging parts, dramatically cutting down on the
number of times parts are handled, from the time they are packed
by the supplier to when they are installed on the 777.

Busy Hornets
A Boeing-led team that included two F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets
completed a round-the-world trip in 82 days as part of an effort
by Integrated Defense Systems to bolster international sales.
The jet fighters performed at air shows and took potential customers
and VIPs on demonstration flights.
