The Space Shuttle Discovery on Launch Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center, Fla.

THE STARS COME OUT AT NIGHT
The xenon lights on Launch Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center, Fla., illuminate Space Shuttle Discovery following the April 13 rollback of the Rotating Service Structure. The next day, a propellant-loading test of Discovery's External Tank took place. NASA plans to launch Discovery later this spring or summer. Boeing is the major subcontractor to the United Space Alliance, NASA's prime contractor for shuttle operations.
