SET TO PROTECT
U.S. Air Force Capt. Matt Johnson taxis out to fly a combat air patrol mission from Langley Air Force Base, Va., on July 1. Pilots patrolled the sky over the Washington, D.C., area providing presidential support during the U.S. Independence Day holiday weekend. Capt. Johnson is an F-15 Eagle pilot with the 94th Fighter Squadron.
