IDS 2003 orders top $50 billion Albaugh said IDS business grew "by more than 10 percent from a revenue standpoint" in 2003 and expressed confidence that "we can do this again in the current year and do it profitably." Major end-of-year contracts include: . A pair of contracts totaling $9.6 billion with the U.S. Navy for the production of an additional 210 F/A-18 Super Hornets and system design and development of the EA-18G airborne electronic attack aircraft. . An extension of the International Space Station contract with NASA through September 2006. The full value of the contract (including options) is $1.6 billion. . A $14.78 billion contract with the U.S. Army for System Development and Demonstration of the Future Combat Systems program. . A $303 million contract with the U.S. Army for production of seven new CH-47F Chinook helicopters and three MH-47G Special Operations Chinooks. Connexion by Boeing President Scott Carson said the business unit is "actively engaged in discussions with several of the leading maritime operators, as well as potential distributors." Separately, Connexion by Boeing said last month that All Nippon Airways had signed a definitive service agreement to install the mobile Internet service on the airline's long-haul airplanes. ANA is the fourth carrier to have signed a definitive service agreement with Connexion by Boeing.
