Dream Job >> After witnessing the Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy as a 6-year-old, Alicia Evans said she knew she "wanted to be part of something important and to do amazing things." Now, as a system test engineer for Boeing Satellite Systems in El Segundo, Calif., she's working on spacecraft such as the NASA weather satellite in this photo. Her reflection appears in the satellite's solar panel. For Evans, the best thing about working at Boeing "is that there are so many opportunities for engineers that you just have to find the right one for you." |
