Coming to terms with
pachyderms
Elephants may not be aerodynamic, but they recently
proved helpful to a
team of some 50 employees from BCA's Strut, Nacelle
and Composites
Responsibility Center in Wichita, Kan. The team recently
studied the safety
procedures, checklists and precautions used by elephant
handlers at the
Sedgwick County Zoo. And they found surprising similarities
in their jobs.
