FDNY thanks IDS employees

Len Schieff of the New York Fire Department Rescue No. 2, signs the T-shirt of a Boeing Integrated Defense System-Long Beach employee last month. The shirts were sold by FDNY Rescue No. 2. as part of a fundraiser to support families of Rescue 2 members lost on Sept. 11, 2001. IDS–Long Beach employees have purchased more than 400 shirts in support of these families and have helped raise more than $500,000 to date. Schieff and fellow fireman Joe Jardin personally thanked Boeing employees for their caring support and generosity. The Newport Beach, Calif., Fire Department sponsored the New Yorkers’ visit to Southern California.
