This month, about 20,000 employees are
scheduled to be given access to the new employee portal - called my.boeing.com
- designed to help them better manage their work and life at Boeing.
The portal will be rolled out in phases and should be available to
all employees who have access to the Boeing Intranet by the end of
2002. Employees will be notified by e-mail when the portal becomes
available to them. They also will receive guidelines and instructions
on how to access it. my.boeing.com will provide customized access
to the Boeing web, including company news and information, search
engines, and specialized sites for line-of-business applications and
data. |
|
It also will be the Web gateway to TotalAccess,
the source for secure, easy-to-use, personalized Human Resources-related
services. By logging into the TotalAccess tab of my.boeing.com, employees
will find information to make decisions, instructions for performing
transactions and access to Web-based services to complete those transactions.
Or, a single call to the professionally staffed TotalAccess Contact
Center can provide the same services to employees who don't have Web
availability when they want to use TotalAccess. The TotalAccess Contact
Center has an accelerated rollout and will be available to most employees
by July. |
